  • Stargazers — Off-Broadway, Spring 2024

    Page 73 will produce Stargazers at the Connelly Theater. Stargazers is a play about land — land that hosts campfires and funeral pyres, pasture parties and picnic tables, ABBA and boxed wine, and skeletons buried in the corral. But most of all, it’s a nocturne about the women who love a place even when it has no place for them.

    Two Headed Calf at Open Jar Studios

    Les Waters is directing a reading of Majkin’s new play two headed calf. The reading is being produced by Page 73 and will run Friday, Nov. 17th at 4pm in NYC.

  • 2023 Page 73 Playwriting Fellowship Recipient

    Majkin was named the recipient of the 2023 Page 73 Playwriting Fellowship.

  • Bard at the Gate — Season 3

    TENT REVIVAL will be included in the 22-23 season of Paula Vogel’s Bard at the Gate series produced in partnership with the McCarter Theatre Center.

    Skinflint at Bethany College

    SKINFLINT, a nihilistic fairytale, will be performed at Bethany College, Majkin’s alma mater. The staged reading will feature a talkback with the playwright and creative team.

  • Page 73 Writing Retreat

    Majkin was awarded a grant from Page 73 for an individual writing retreat in the fall of 2022 to support the development of a new play.

  • Ucross Residency

    Majkin was in residence at the Ucross Foundation in Clearmont, Wyoming in the Spring of 2022 working on a new play.

  • 2022 Page 73 Playwriting Fellowship Finalist

    Majkin was named one of three finalist for the 2022 Page 73 Playwriting Fellowship alongside Vichet Chum and Marvin González De León.

  • Portraits of Religion in Modern Theatre panelist

    Majkin was invited to participate in a panel concerning depictions of modern religion in the American theatre at the New York Theatre Salon alongside playwrights Will Arbery, Kareem Fahmy, and Kim Snyder.

  • Roundabout Reading Series

    TENT REVIVAL was included in Roundabout Underground’s Reading Series alongside works by Harrison David Rivers, Benjamin Benne, Shayan Lotfi and Nick Mecikalski. The reading was directed by Teddy Bergman.
